Stained Glass Dragon Workshop

Stained Glass "Sip and Solder" Dragon Workshop at The Cozy Bookwyrm! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll be guided through the final steps of the traditional copper foil method—wrapping, soldering, and finishing your piece. All supplies are included, and pre-cut glass pieces will be provided. By the end of the session, you’ll have hands-on experience with foiling and soldering, a solid understanding of how stained glass pieces come together, and your own handmade stained glass piece to take home! If you're over the age of 21, you can enjoy our complimentary wine or BYOB!

Taught by local artist Stella Tharin, whose work is inspired by the coastal beauty of Wilmington, nature, astrology and more. With several years of experience, Stella blends traditional stained glass techniques with a modern, approachable style to make the craft fun and accessible for everyone!

• Included: pre-cut glass, tools, and other supplies (dragon design will be simplified and a bit different and than what is pictured - there will be no painted details or crystals).  *TO REQUEST A COLOR: on cart page (before the check out page), please leave a note with your dragon color request and I will do my best to match it (ex. wispy purple; solid pale blue; transparent pink; white etc.) If no color is requested, I will choose a color for you.

• When: Friday, November 21st | 6pm-8:30pm (2.5 hours) 
• Where: The Cozy Bookwyrm - 1540 S 2nd St, Unit 220, Wilmington, NC 28401 **NOT THE CARGO DISTRICT LOCATION** It is recommended you arrive early to secure parking.
• Cost: $175 per person
• Class Type: Stained glass - **please wear close-toed shoes and appropriate clothing for working with glass and heated tools**

You will be working with stained glass and associated tools. We occasionally record videos and take photos during classes for our social media. By signing up for this course, you are giving Stained and Confused permission to use your likeness for advertisement purposes unless otherwise expressed in writing prior to class.

Tickets cannot be refunded, prorated or exchanged for another workshop due to the special nature of our offerings and very limited enrollment. If you miss a class date, your ticket will not be prorated for missed time, nor will you have the option to make up the class. Please let your instructor know in advance if you plan to miss class so she can help you catch up during your next session.
